One of the largest problems found with the new Asc. Oval car is getting the proper gearing. The Axle/Spur is just too close to the motor/pinion, and there isn’t enough room for adjustments. On a lot of tracks that means running a smaller spur gear (resulting in less corner speed/torque) to get the correct "roll-out". SPEEDMERCHANT has solved this problem by introducing the "Gear-Up" bulkhead set. By moving the axle slightly away from the motor you can now gear for any track, tiny flat ovals to huge velodromes. By machining the set out of a high strength alloy you get no "pod" flex under extreme g loads. The machining process also allows for perfect axle/bearing alignment just not possible with a molded piece. The "Gear-Up" bulkhead set is also great for converting a 1/12 roadcourse racer in to an oval machine. Finally, these things just look trick. Blue or purple with silver highlights to match any car.
